As the fourth quarter of 2020 closed, the Android basketball gaming scene in Europe saw significant activity. Data from Sensor Tower provides us with a look into how five popular basketball games fared during this period.

Basketball Arena: Online Game from Masomo Gaming displayed a strong finish to the year. The game's downloads surged to 327K in the final week of December, down from the peak of 453K in the third week of December. Weekly active users peaked at 805K in the week of December 21, with a slight decrease to 774K in the last week. Revenue for the game also saw a dramatic increase, reaching $25K in the last two weeks of December.

VOODOO's Jump Dunk 3D, released in early December, quickly gained traction with downloads skyrocketing to 719K by the month's end. The weekly active users followed suit, reaching over 1.3M in the final week. Although revenue figures started small, they grew to $464 by the end of December.

Another VOODOO title, Flip Dunk, showed a different trend. Downloads dipped to 26K in the last week of December from a high of 77K at the end of November. Weekly active users decreased from 224K at the end of November to 120K by the year's end. Revenue figures remained modest, with the game earning $27 in the last week of December.

Miniclip.com's Basketball Stars: Multiplayer experienced a steady performance. Downloads were at 36K in the last week of December, while weekly active users saw a minor decrease to 158K from 204K at the start of the quarter. Revenue ended at $3K in the final week of December, down from $6.5K at the quarter's start.

Lastly, NBA LIVE Mobile Basketball by ELECTRONIC ARTS maintained a consistent player base with weekly active users ending the year at 363K, down from a high of 421K in October. Downloads in the last week of December were at 34K, with revenue for the same period reaching $14.5K.
